Where are there printed hard copies of archived annual reports, prospectuses, etc. of listed companies

    Hi there,

I'm getting started in investing and have been advised the best place to start is to read the annual reports (current and historical) back to if available the original prospectus of listed companies to understand how their businesses work and how they have been treating minority shareholders since inception.

As it is tiring on the eyes to keep reading off hkexnews.hk, does anyone know where are there printed hard copies of these documents? (E.g. in public libraries or the HKEX at Exchange Square?) I've heard the HK universities libraries stock these but are only accessible by students.

    Many thanks in advance!

Annual reports, announcements and circulars can all be downloaded directly from the website of the listed entity.

They are an entertaining read for fiction.

Don't forget, there is plenty more to keep track of than just the annual report...

e.g. for Disney, Dividend, Earnings Calls, Shareholder meetings, Conferences..

if you are shareholder (physical on hand, not held by bank on your behalf), the listed company will send you a hard copy.

Thanks! I was looking more for the printed (hard) copies. As it is thousands of pages to print them all.

Surely there must be some value to reading them? How else do people (investors) get up to speed on the business over here then?

If it's a dodgy penny stock doing an IPO in Singapore, go to raffles place where they hand them out like the phone company does with the yellow pages. Never saw the same technique applied in HK.
