I hope interest rates do come down in Hong Kong. In the last 6 months, my HSBC Malaysia mortgage rate has dropped from 4.34% to 3.09%, in Australia my rates have dropped from 3.17% to 2.19%. About time for some relief in Hong Kong too!

I'm already benefitting - I have 6m hibor +0.7% or prime minus 2.75%, so I'm paying 1.35% until March 2021, (was paying 2.5% in August this year)
