    Yes as per statement all new mortgages and re-mortgages should be at 2.625% effective rate, slowly surpassing rental yield.. This is after cash rebate already cut down to 1%, looks like liquidity crunch making impact.. Ironically this is happening while Fed is reducing rates..

    That's quick, esp after the last raise was less than a month ago.

    Just got a letter from HSBC. Effective interest rate is now down to HKD2.25
