    HK.3169 Liquidity

    Hi,

Any idea why the volume on 3169 is so low? Seems strange given it is a Vanguard ETF tracking China shares.

    Thanks

Also generally only a handful of ETFs in HK have any sort of decent liquidity and market capitalisation.

Thank you both. Then better to go with 2822 or 2823 if looking for similar exposure.

It's a little different though, 2822/2823 only tracks A shares while 3169 tracks both A and H shares (even P chip and N shares), giving you a bit more diversification. As well, the expense ratio for 3169 is a lot cheaper.

I guess 3169 is a relatively new product for vanguard so liquidity is sparse. Took a while for 3140 to pick up. Would definitely look to move my 2823 into a vanguard ETF if it gets better later on.

Increased daily turnover and volume. The bid ask spread has tightened as well compared to a few years ago.

Seems like AAStocks has some daily volume for 3140.
