    That's why I wrote '' if realistic ''. In this case you think the right range would be 0-5%?

    Alright, thanks for your opinion. Seems that only FX deposits (Euro, USD/HKD) can give some return in short term. USD seems to remain strong in 2019.

    OP ... serious question - do you know what "risk" is and how to find low risk investments? 5-10% like TheBrit said .. plenty of low risk stuff available for you to look at.

    Step 1 is to educate yourself on the topic.
    In case you omit step 1: be prepared to be taken advantage of by so-called "financial advisors". Because you won't be able to recognize their BS.
    Once you've done step 1, you will be able to make the right choices, given your situation, goals, and time horizon.
