    Jack Bogle, founder of the Vanguard Group, told everyone to avoid individual stocks and only go for Wide Market Index Funds, such as SPY, or QQQ, etc. Buy in, keep buying and keep your eyes closed to the ups/downs of the marketplace for 10 years. You will be satisfied.
    I can agree that individual stocks are alluring no end. But each is a high risk. Will the USA economy collapse? Hardly. Will TSLA, or ZOOM fail next February for reasons we cannot see now? Maybe.

    Be aware though that SPY and QQQ are gradually becoming more and more dominated by about 5 stock tickers only. Which makes them less of a "wide market" index ETF.
