Global Stocks Data & Analytics from KoyFin

It is free for now, paid plans to be introduced in 2021.

Not sure if any of you guys use koyfin. I have been using it off and on for some discovery / charts etc for US stocks.

They've just announced a major upgrade to cover global equities, ETFs etc. HK is included.

The result looks world class for now. Very keen to see where this goes.

Picked a couple of random stocks and two random screens.

They don't have their news and filings coverage sorted for international stocks, but it does seem to be on the way.

    From their "About Page"

Koyfin was started by two former Wall Street veterans who were frustrated with the professional tools available to investors without access to Bloomberg or other high priced platforms. They built all of Koyfin charting and dashboard tools from scratch to give investors the ultimate functionality to turn data into information.

Rob Koyfman and Rich Meatto previously worked on Wall Street analyzing stocks and macro trends. Rob brings a deep financial background within equities, options and macro strategies. Rich’s expertise is centered around fixed income, distressed securities, and special situations. Together they lead a team of developers and designers who are passionate about creating the best investment analytics platform in the market.

FYI - Mentioning this as it has changed and is not very obvious.

You can track your portfolio performance (does not do transactions - just average cost / number of shares can be added) in your dashboard.

    1) Create a watchlist dashboard from the side menu.
    2) Edit columns from the watchlist

    3) Go to the portfolio group in the columns list and enable the portfolio columns - they'll appear on the right side and you can reorder them.

Wondering if the paid plans can directly import my portfolio from my broker?

Looks nice - like that they have consensus estimates and that news includes tweets.

I think all the info is available free, but they pull it together well.

    Do you use
    https://www.marketscreener.com
    used to be called 4-traders.com

A lot of the same info - layout less elegant. Marketscreener also has paid subscriptions with picks etc - don't know the quality of those plans.

Their latest update includes transcripts, which I tend to find interesting at times..

With the February update, we are introducing Corporate Transcripts (TS) — an important feature to help you read into management conversations, determine positive or negative sentiment and trends, and pick up on the expectations for future performance.

Excel now have historical stock prices. Think you need Office 365 and the new stock data type. It's great!
