Interesting considering I think BYD, NIO etc......seemed to have large increases in deliveries....

Have not looked at the numbers. Curious what their share was for Q4

I don't understand why the Tesla stock went down on the weak car delivery numbers. All along when it's been going up the bulls said its because its not a car company anymore. So why would car sales matter?

Exactly. It's 100x overvalued as an EV company with an incredibly stale portfolio and a nutcase absentee CEO.
But hey... rooooooboooooooo. It's the dream that puts the dreamy valuation on it. So why should car sales reality matter to said dream?

It goes up on narratives and comes back down on reality. Like they say.. trade it don't own it.

For the fourth quarter, BYD delivered about 595,000 all-electric cars. That was more than Tesla, giving the quarterly global sales crown to the Chinese EV maker for the second time. Tesla delivered just under 496,000 EVs in the fourth quarter.
