I keep hearing that only Chinese A Stocks is allowed and special permission is required if you want to buy US stocks in China.
You can’t buy US stocks “ in China” as foreign stocks are not listed at the Chinese stock exchanges.
You can easily live in China and buy US or other foreign stocks through
a bank/ brokerage abroad. Questions that come up are how to get the money from point C. to point A. and taxation.

I have the same trouble…. Only can manage small amount at a time. I have trading account in HK and North America but getting funds to it now that I live in mainland China is challenging….

A mainland Chinese can wire money to HK in USD. Find a friend that can help you with this.

Yet somehow, four Tesla- owned dealerships reported to the Canadian government that they sold an astonishing 8,653 cars during a single weekend in January — enough to qualify for 43 million Canadian dollars’ (about $30 million) worth of government subsidies under a program just before it expired.

Now the Canadian government wants to know exactly how the electric carmaker managed to move two cars a minute off its lots — a rate that assumes those four dealers had stayed open 24 hours from Jan. 10 to Jan. 12.
Something fishy going on in Canada. Could be a huge fleet delivery.. but...

They did something similar in HK in 2017/2018 when the gov removed the FRT subsidy on BEVs for a year, Tesla "bought" a few hundred cars before the tax increase,, once that prepaid stock was sold off, they only sold a single car that year.

Let's see how these numbers affect the quarterly results and stock price. The stock did take a beating this time last year but has more than recovered.

And yes, Model Y refresh... Let's see

LOL stock went up after rumours that he is 'leaving' the administration.

Stocks are just balloons filled by rumours and 'hopes'.
