    Renting out carpark space

    Hi people

I have a flat around the ICC/ Elements mall area. I don't own a car but have a carpark space that comes along with the flat. Does anyone know how to go about renting out the car park space aside from putting up an ad within the estate and how much do carpark spaces go for these days?

    Thank you

My family car was sold off, and I immediately circulated the residents of our complex, in writing, that there was an empty covered car parking spot available at LESS than the "going rate" that the Management was charging for their car parking spaces - some ~$250 a month cheaper, and it was quickly "snapped up" by one user for 6 months, and then swiftly followed up by another "user" since then!

I had no idea at the start how much that car spot was worth, but as people have never let it go empty, I guess that my price was right for a FOUR car family !!

YOUR "best bet" is to ask around to find out how much money you can get for it, 'cos one way or another, unless you act now, you are just throwing away money that could be coming your way !!

The club house usually has a classified board/service, you can get current pricing and advertise your spot there.

If your estate has a Facebook page you can also try there.
