I recall the plan was to expand to 80 companies in the index by "mid 2022", but the CSV file on the HK Tracker web page suggests they are currently only at 65. Anyone got any recent news on this? I found a 2021 article from CNBC but can't find anything more recent:


I get that this is the antithesis of indexing to some degree where the focus on change is a bit more glacial, but would it not be more prudent for them to consider speeding up the changes while the companies likely to be included (i.e. so called "new economy" stocks) are pretty beaten up?
