How long will HK remains so stale on IPO and others.. anyone's guess. should be another few years before we are talking about a 'bottoming' of the property market.
Have you got a source for the SEA investment?

won't get a clear guide. but there will be indirect leads >>

Indonesia Is Expected to Maintain Its Positive Momentum Throughout the Year

For the first time in more than 20 years, Indonesia has surpassed Hong Kong in the global stock exchange rankings by deal number, contributing 7% and 4% by number and proceeds of the global IPO activity, respectively. It also continues leading the ASEAN exchange by hosting 45 IPOs in the first half of the year with total proceeds of US$2.2b. Furthermore, 15 companies are currently undergoing book building with a combined indicative public offering size ranging from IDR 1.2t to IDR 1.5t (USD$80 to USD$100m).

Indonesia I would expect to be on the list, it was Myanmar that mostly surprised me. I have seen headlines of record low FDI there and last week a story about heavy fighting with the military losing. Seems a strange place for investment.

Large, public money, no. But smaller private money yes. Do have quite alot of friends doing the ground work in Myanmar.
If you hit it right, these are easily a million into multi billion kind of investments. Schools, Telco, mining, etc.etc...
