can I open an online stock trading acc here?

Hi, I just arrived in HK recently. I'm from Canada so am trying to reduce the number of Canadian accounts that I have so that I can maintain non-residency.

Is it relatively easy to set up an online trading acc here in Hong Kong, or would it be much easier in the end to simply open a Canadian acc? Does anyone recommend any providers?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Trivial for anyone except a US citizen. Just go to your bank and ask, or E-trade and Schwab both have operations here.
