Buying shares with a 3 month view is pure gambling - just stick a pin in the list of shares and buy that.

    Three months?

If you have this time horizon, you need to be VERY informed of the market.

If you are not aware of the market movements weekly (or daily) I suggest you stay very safe with long term (one year plus) investments.

Hong Kong is FULL of day-traders. They are more active then 99% of us could ever be. They will change their mind quite easily and can drag the market one way or the other easily.

"Winning" or "Losing" $100,000 is nthing to many people on the HKSE I would suspect.

OMG there are some incredibly naive people out there!

Asking for share tips from an anonymous group you have never met and know nothing about is plain stupidity.

Why don't you just write out a cheque to the broker of your choice and forget about playing the markets?

Failing that open a futures account and play index futures for the 5 minutes you are likely to survive.

(or wait till Pauline Cousins of Crown Asset Management is released from prison and give her all your money)

Didn't you ask a similar question last month?

BTW "888" was a very unlucky account number for an expat trader in Singapore 15 years ago. Any prizes for remembering the name of the current plasterer?

Broadly agree - but it is rarely the day traders that move the markets, unless some stock has really low liquidity.

Maybe ask one of those fortune tellers to find you a "lucky lucky man".
