Cool Tax and Medical Advice Sought

I have been offered a job in HK which I am keen to accept but I do not know what the tax rate is, or whether there is state health care, or whether you need to get private insurance.

    Can anyone help ?

Tax is between 15%-20%. Not sure about health insurance costs for you, but some employers provide it if you're an expat moving overseas.

    Good luck!

Go to the HK govt IRD website for the tax rates. People earning around HK $1m or more are subject to a flat rate of 15%. Any income lower than that, the tax rate will be lower.

Most employers offer medical insurance, with some including a list of penal doctors.
