Shareholder of an UK Limited with dependent Visa in Hong Kong

Hy i have got a question. If i am shareholder of a UK limited and staying with dependent Visa in Hong Kong. I dont have to work because i am living from my savings. So the question is how to deal with my shareholder Status in Hong Kong? Am i right as long as I am only shareholder and not working for the company i am shareholder so this should not be a problem or?

yes - correct. If you are only a shareholder, then all you are doing is (hopefully) deriving income from your shareholding

If you have a dependent visa, then :
    a) you can be a shareholder of any company
    b) you can work for any company you like
    there are no restrictions.

Your question seems a bit strange. What exactly are you worried about?

Salaries Tax in HK is exactly that - a tax on Salaries. No taxes on savings income. I think property might be treated differently but I'm not sure - but sounds like it does not apply to you anyway.

From a HK perspective dividends are exempt from tax. That said, speak to an advisor in case your UK company needs to apply a withholding tax on dividends remitted overseas. My experience says no (I hold some shares in a few UK plc's), however google says something else.
