    So there is no need to provide stamp duty etc? As WMDS says in his post:

    "From my experience, you will need to provide stamp duty certification, a receipt for rent paid and a signed tenancy agreement to qualify for rental reimbursement. Would your serviced apartment provide the above as I would doubt it......"

    Because my HR department claims more or less the same thing as WMDS says. I want to find the IRD document that states otherwise, so I can show my HR department that I can use the tax deduction.
