when paying my tax bill through scb online, there is an option to pay by credit card. does anyone know if i will incur any administrative or cash advance charges by doing so?
i have emailed scb but the sooner it can be confirmed, the better. thanks.

No charges, but get no points either (or whatever rewards SCB have for credit card spending). I pay through the online banking using my credit card. If you don't pay off the balance of your credit card, then you will start paying charges.

SCB offer reward points for paying all bills online from credit card account EXCEPT IRD DEPARTMENT (ie tax). I read this somewhere on their website or brochure.
