Late tax return

Anyone know if you can submit it in person at revenue? (I'll be making a trip to wan chai tomorrow anyway). Or do you need to submit it by envelope to the PObox only ?

The box is in the lobby of the revenue tower. Walk up to it and pitch it inside.

I wonder if anyone has ever thrown smelly objects in there in previous years

If this is the first financial period for your company, you can write a explanation letter and request for waiver of overdue penalty. Submit the tax paper along with explanation letter to IRB, you probably won't be fined.

No worries. Due to circumstances we just submitted our 2011/2012 return and no issues there either. The IRD aren't a bad lot really......
