Got an email from HKIRD so I signed in on Etax and saw that I will be getting 10K HKD refund woohoo
Since the GPB is still low I should get close to 1100£ niceeeeeeee

You bastard! The tax office just sent me a $75k bill. The pricks want 15% of all the rent income I received (less 20% allowance for repairs and maintenance) on my HK flat for the last two years.

I remember getting a couple of refunds after we returned to the UK. It is nice isn't it! Sadly our exchange wasn't as favourable as it is nowadays.
How wil you get it though? Mine was sent by cheque - we had to get friends in HK to pay it in for us.
