Uh, if you're paying over 150k in taxes after every eligible deduction, you're earning very serious money, and would be absolutely fleeced anywhere else in the developed world. Suck it up and enjoy your tax haven rates!

As an expat living in HK, I realized how unreasonable and unfair the tax system is for foreigners.
My GF has deductions for her parents which can deduct 200,000. While she is living with her parents at their flat (fully owned), little to no expenses. She doesnt really need to support her parents.
While for expats, since my parents are living overseas, I am not eligible for any deductions, while I am supporting them heavily.
Want to attract more foreign talents? Fix some of these outdated bs tax deductions. end of rant.
Don't sympathise with anything in this quote at all. You cannot give out deductions on the basis of people who do not live in the jurisdiction.
Maybe it wasnt funny. but Gee, If you had an ounce of intellect, it was pretty obvious I wasnt serious.
Yeah, it was just so randomly bad that it actually confused me and I don't seem to be the only one. But fair enough, I should have known. Maybe us "circle jerks" on this "trash site" should just lighten up a bit.
