Post Ivy Sung at the Upper Room (Salon at Causeway Bay) -- is she still open?

Hi everything, I am new to the Board. I have seen a few recommendations to Ivy Sung here and wanted to make an appointment. I have sent an email and left a voicemail, but I haven't heard back. Wondering is she's closed?

Alternatively, could you suggest another hair stylist in or around Causeway Bay who may be Vidal Sassoon trained?

    Many thanks!

Pauline of The Firm (in ii Salon, Princes Building) is Vidal Sassoon trained (and fabulous) if Central is not too far for you to get to.

Ivy Sung @ the Upper Room (hair salon) - is it closed?

Hi everyone, I am new to the Board. Do you know if Ivy has closed her salon? I have seen a couple recomendations and wanted to give her a try. Sent her an email and left her a voicemail, but haven't heard back.

In any event, I am looking for a stylist who can speak Chinese (as I'd like to recommend the "right" person to my mom) in or around Causeway Bay. Ideally, the stylist is Vidal Sasson trained.

    Let me know. Many thanks!

Ivy's salon is still open. I was just there a couple of weeks ago. Have you checked her website?

She can be slow getting back to you sometimes but I usually email her and get a response.

Hi, Jerry of Nova Hair in Central (hope not too far) is Vidal Sassoon trained in London. He used to work at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and now at Nova Hair. He speaks good English and Chinese. Majority of his clients are Westerners. Hope this helps
