Shoe repairer

Heels on two of my favourite pairs of shoes bought in Japan have started to wear away and are no longer flat surfaced. These need replacing.

Who can recommend someone, preferably Island side to do these sort of repairs to men's shoes?

I like this shoe repair shop in the Shun Tak Centre (Macau Ferry) in Sheung Wan:

The lady works there seems to really know her stuff and takes time to explain things to me in good English.

I've been to the shop at Macau ferry to have shoes polished, they did a good job.

Over my 25 years in HK, I've gotten plenty of men's dress shoes resoled because there is lots of walking in HK and sidewalks are pretty rough. All my dress shoes are Goodyear welted leather soled. I was a frequent customer of those two shoe repair shops in the Pedder Street alleyway beside the A&F store in Central. They do quick, decent quality work, and relatively cheap. But this past week, I ventured into Andersen's shoe repair inside Shun Tak Centre and got a new heel and rubber half sole done. Really good quality work. Shoes came back like new. But it cost about double the Pedder St cobblers. I'm trying to justify bringing a second pair for the full treatment - complete resole and heel. Will take some before and after pictures for peeps here.
