    Italian restaurant

Hi, Can anyone recommend a good Italian restaurant on HK island - or TST? Celebrating 2 months with my girlfriend

    What's your budget?

If you sizeable, but not quite up to Caprice (which is French anyway) then try Panevino, which I reviewed here.

Two months in this town calls for Caprice.

If she is a local girl, I thought the standard two month anniversay present was a LV handbag.

Seriously... two months anniversary!!! The things we see

Anyway, if you're a spender then Grissini at the Hyatt and Nicholini's at the Conrad would be nice places. Va Bene has been around for a while in LKF. If you're cheap then there's always Pizza Express or Fat Angelo's!

Personally, I don't find italian food to be good value in HK

Haha - this wont be a monthly occasion! Budget is around 1500 so i think Panevino may be too pricey...Not keen on going to Pizza Express or Fat Angelo's - don't think that would go down to well :P

Posto Pubblico in Soho is quite good. If you have a big budget, I would recommend The Drawing Room in CWB.

If budget is not a problem try the Italian place at the Royal Garden Hotel in East TST. Sabatini is seriously good Italian at seriously great prices. I was there tonight. The four piece italian music is somewhat mexican but they do the rounds for tables personally.
