No entertainment at the restaurant area when I had Christmas lunch last year, at the Clipper Lounge, Mandarin Oriental. However, there was a Santa's grotto and some kids ballet performance on the lobby floor though.

Update:
Ritz Carlton not decided their programme yet.
Intercontinental Grand Stanford has seats available for their Mistral restaurant (though the Italian menu was not to our taste).
We have decided on Island Shangri-la's ballroom party for the children. Tickets go on sale next week. They have a LOT of other options too, at the Shangri-la.
Mandarin Oriental never replied to my email enquiry.
I just remembered a few years back we ended up at the Gold Coast hotel.
It was a zoo :-) The buffet was crowded and the food was very Chinesy, there were many Santa's and elves running around as well as clowns and other assorted noises, loud noises.
Indoors and Outdoors.
Me and the wife hated it but the kids absolutely loved the atmosphere so we put up with it for the day...
Well yes, actually we weren't keen on the idea at first and I'm expecting total mayhem but I know the little guy will love it. It's tough having an only child sometimes!
