You need to pay at least 500 for a nice hotel buffet assuming. Ice means 5 star...

xmas day is one of the busiest days of the year... prices are sky high! regular hotel buffets are usually not far off of $400 pp.... you're going to have to increase your budget or cook your own turkey etc.

All the big hotels have their Christmas programmes now. And most are happy to email it to you promptly. From the ones that I looked at, HKD400 is way below what they charge on Christmas Day.
Edit: recommend you get onto them soon as places such as Peninsula were already fully booked weeks ago.

Up the budget to nearer $600 upwards and you might get somewhere that's not fully booked up.

I would like to find somewhere that does a traditional English style Christmas dinner, turkey with stuffing, roast vegetables, I'd really love gammon cooked in coca cola..

Wouldn't bother with a buffet in Hong Kong. A lot of lining up and and people hoarding all the best food.
