22 North is one of my 2 favoured restaurant in DB. The food is excellent, so is the service. It's one of the few independent restaurants, it's owner (Phillipe) is passionate to get it right and make it a success.

Been there once, good food but seriously terrible service.
They prioritise the regular customers when it comes to taking food orders.

One of the two best places in DB, the other being the Thai restaurant.

Food is great, Philipe is a wonderful host (the sort that gives you a post-dinner drink) and the service is good, but as has been noted I think being a local regular we are treated a little differently. This happens a lot in DB as the local regulars are their bread and butter and you spend a bit of time anywhere in such a small place, people get to know you.

I'd say definitely give it a go. The only drawback, and it's a common one in HKG, is that the tables are very close together.

    Hope you enjoy it.

True about they want to keep the regulars sweet but they've now lost mine and my friends future custom.
