Harry Ramsdens was good novelty food but a strange location that didn't probably see much expat or tourist footfall

harry ramsdens fed me thru uni!

( got a job there! since I had blown my grant on essentials like Newcastle brown ale )

it was actually the first and only time I was sexually harrassed at work.. I was waiting on a table of pensioners and I had 3 plates of haddock and chips in hand - when I felt a hand on my bum, i looked around in horror to see an old lady grinning up at me - her party trick to top it off was letting her false teeth drop down a bit

I miss BK at the airport!

Going home and the things that I try to get are:

Harveys - like chargrilled burgers better than the mcD's fried variety plus they have jalapenos and gravy for fries
Swiss Chalet Chicken - can't beat the sauce
Pork Souvlaki from the Danforth Greek establishments
Corned beef on rye, easy on the mustard - smoked meat sandwiches are much better in T.O.
    Milkshakes at Licks -

BK - never really liked them, think it is because the fries were not to my liking. McD fries taste a lot better.

I don't think I'm speaking only for myself when I say Burger King has always been much better then McDonald's. I think Burger King Corporation should sack their marketing department here in Asia. There is no reason they shouldn't be doing well. Hell they closed the BK in the bank of America building as well and right next to it a McDonald's opened.

Joking aside I would love to see one or both of them in Hong Kong...I wont discriminate and eat whichever becomes available.

Price. BK is "expensive" compared to Mc Do.

And now BOTH Tony Roma's have vanished as well! We wanted some ribs badly over the weekend so went to Outback instead which was crap compared to Roma's. Where to go now???
