What is your favorite wine at the moment

As some peeps are talking about wine, would be interesting to see what some of the fellow forum winos are drinking.

    Mine at the moment are:

    Corrisons........Napa Cabernet Sauvignon 2001
    Asara Avalon...SA Pinotage 2006
    Castel Giocondo...Italy Brunello
    Chocolate Block...SA Syrah blend

Bought at the actual vineyard while travelling this summer:

Yering Station (Aus) - 2010 Pinot Noir
Devil's Lair (Aus) - Cabernet Sauvignon
Passage Rock (NZ) - 2010 Reserve Syrah
De Bortoli (Aus) - 2009 Noble One (dessert wine)

Brought over from France (gifts from French friends when I visited them earlier this year):

Albert Bichot (France) - 2009 Mercurey
Chateau Teynac (France) - 2007 Saint Julien

    Quaffing wine:
Villa Maria (NZ) - 2010 Sauvignon Blanc
Faustino Rivera (Spain) - 2005 Black Label Reserva Rioja

And I always have a bottle of Cordoniu Cava available in case there's an excuse to celebrate something...like it's the weekend! :-) And when I can get my hands on it, Nyetimber sparkling wine (to support England's growing wine industry). Just wish I could get some Biddenden cider from Kent....the best cider ever!!!

Nice list. I am always looking out for decent wines to add to my collection which doesn't last long in our house. I do have an 07 Opus One which shouldn't be opened till 2014 according to cor.kz (wine app).

My favourite Sav Blanc is strangely from Napa Valley, Tres Sabores. I have visited their vineyard twice but was always restricted to the amount I could take back but now in HK I maybe tempted to make another air shipment order as no restrictions.

Not one in the house left standing/lying except a crusty Port. See what I can find on Saterday shopping day.

I limit myself mostly to restaurant wine drinking as I have to do those a lot. Tonight it's Moët Chandon I suspect, a friends birthday sea food buffet extravagansa. Im trying to lose a bit of weight....not easy, Christmas coming up.

I see Pinotage out there. Trance Omega you have a wonderfully robust brave bold taste in wine. Im far more skittish though if I can get past the first glass Im away.

"Black Stump Bordeaux" a nice peppermint flavoured Burgundy

"Chateau Bleu", has a nice lingering afterburn.

"Old Smokey, 1968" compares favourably to a Welsh Claret

Any price lists to go with that?

Would be great to have a list of what people are drinking now, with where-to-buy and price...

Hmmmm. Difficult for me to decide.

Albrecht Schwegler "Beryll" 2005 and " Saphir" 2007 - purchased at last weekend's intl wine and spirits fair.
Sonsierra 2009 and 2007 Rioja Tempranillo and Conde del Real Agrado 2005 garnacha/Tempranillo /graciano/ manzuelo , plus their 2012 garnacha rose - purchased from last weekend intl wine and spirits fair

    Hans Herzog Pinot noir 2003
Staedt Landt spirit of Marlborough 2004 Pinot noir.

    Antinori Pian dell Vigne 2005
Guado a Tasso 2006 purchased from 2011 wine and spirits fair.

I could go on but I do have a Cassegrain 2002 durif which my husband brought back from my collection in my inlaws cellar which needs to be drunk now. Also Balgownie estate cab Sauv 1998 and 2004.
