    Peking Duck

Ok so I know of the following:

    Peking Garden
    Spring Deer
    American Peking

Anywhere else on HK Island or TST that is known for good Peking Duck?

    Thanks!

I really like Hunan Garden in Times Square for reasonable priced one...

I really dislike American Peking - sure, its fun to go there with friends and too many beers but I dont consider the food, especially the duck, to be very nice....

On the Dark Side : Hoi King Heen

    For Money-no-object : Mandarin Oriental

I don't find American Peking duck to be very "authentic" peking duck, but not a surprise, since they do cater to Western taste to a certain extent. They are called "American" Peking after all.

There is a restaurant that serves peking duck in the traditional style, called "Old Beijing" at Causeway Bay (5//F Jardine House). They serve the classic Beijing-style peking duck as well as other Beijing dishes. Not bad:

What do you mean by authentic? Sorry for the dense question but I haven't eaten PD in that many places so I doubt I would know authentic if it bit me!

Western-style peking ducks may be less fatty and drier (less oily) than traditional peking duck. The style of pancakes, sweet bean sauce and other ingredients that go with classic Peking duck will also vary (or be absent) for Western-style peking ducks.

You can also learn more about the taste, texture and technique of peking duck from the video below:
