I know it's been said before but sometimes I think only HK bureaucrats could take an idea that is meant to encourage independence, creativity and entrepreneurship and turn it into a soulless, corporate mess.

The idea is good ... instead of 100s of scooters going in and out of buildings deliverying individual meals - if food trucks could be positioned properly with good variety in parks / pedestrian friendly areas.
I'm going to say again, there are essentially food trucks at the Tong Chong Street Market area in Taikoo Place, below my former workplace. It's very popular, and the vendors are rotated monthly - they are technically not trucks, in the sense that they're not mobile, but as good as...
On my most recent trip to NYC I couldn't help but note the loud noise food truck generators made. Could barely hear taxis blaring their horns over the din. Maybe they were USA-portion trucks?
A huge sigh of relief can be heard
