    Using that logic a frozen chapati and some Indian veggies might be considered a deconstructed sandwich?

    Sure, as you could assemble to eat as a sandwich which you'd be hard pressed to do if you swapped out the chapati for rice pilau rice.

    It's been a long time since I've been to Florence, but i don't recall seeing these. One of the best cheese and ham sandwiches was in Siena, nothing fancy, but crusty bread, prosciutto and cheese, but it seemed like heaven. The fact that I was starving might have had a lot to do with it.

    I used to like coronation chicken from Pret back in the UK, or even that prawn softie from Greggs.
