What is this reference to the Chinese in aid of?
The hotel isn't owned by them. This truly is ignorance.

    Claire ex-ax,
Would you happen to know where the old staff have reopened their own shop? Thanks

Eric Kaysers (sp?) has amazing good baguettes.

Levain has really good baguettes too, unfortunately they left Jordan and now cater for the rich on HK Island.

Ya, silly. What have you been eating all these 15 years then? Try the french loaf from Yamazaki - go early as it is sold out before 11 am at my local outlet. Dont know how many they have in each day though.

I thought you would realize that the name has nothing to do with the product as happens very often in Hong Kong - but clearly not. Pity, but is doesn't matter.

They sell sandwiches with the crusts cut off. I ate a pack of their sandwiches once . . . um . . . still hungry.
