    Many locals write the "r" sound but I never hear it when restaurant staff repeat my order.

    For the first one, I think it sounds more like "sigh".

    See and C - same sound.

    It's British English, not American, so the "r" sound isn't spoken. For an American, I would probably write "sigh daw see."

    There is a salted egg custard one in Sai Ying Pun that I've wanted to try but I don't get out to that area of town much.
