    Turkish or Middle Eastern restaurant?

My wife and I love Turkish food, but haven't found a Turkish restaurant here yet. The last decent one we found was in Beijing. That's a bit far to go for just one meal. I think I saw one when exiting the ferry on Lantau island, but even that is a still few hours away from where we live. Are there any others?

See the various "Similar Threads" below. The only Turkish restaurant I know of is in Mui Wo on Lantau Island, but there are a few Greek and Middles Eastern places around:
    Olive in SoHo
    Habibi on Wellington St
The new Jordanian(?) place more or less opposite Habibi
The Lebanese place next to Beyrouth takeout on Lyndhurst Terrace
The Greek place in Ap Lei Chau (or is it Aberdeen)
    ...

Try the Habibi cafe. The restaurant is not particularly better, but the prices are 2-3x.

Merhaba on Knutsford Terrace, TST. Review.

I don't think you'll find good Turkish food here.

We went to Beirut on Saturday - very nice starter, mediocre main course, very poor service. HK$ 1000 (1 starter, 2 mains and a bottle of wine). Left bitterly disappointed, made it known to the manager, and will not be back.
