Taking a taxi from the Airport to Huang Gang border crossing in Futian will take about 40 minutes. From Huang Guang it is probably easier to then take one of the buses to Wan Chai or T.T.Tsui which would take about 40 minutes. The border crossing at Huang Gang is usually not too busy going into HK on a foreign passport.....

I think 11:30 is not realistic. Touchdown 9:45, luggage and passport control at 10:15, take taxi to Huanggang or Futian arrive at 11:00. it will be tight.

Shanghai to Shenzen, must be a domestic Chinese airline. You'll be lucky to even have an on-time arrival. Don't make any plans in HK until at least the afternoon to be on the safe side.

I think the quickest way may well be taxi to the Shenzhen Bay Port Crossing and then a taxi from here to Central.

The Shenzhen Bay Port Crossing is by far the quietest (no queues) and no long walks over bridges either. It's pretty much on the freeway both sides too.

Google it and print out the chinese - you'll need it - it's less well known than the others as it's new.

From Shenzhen Airport to SBP is about 30-40 mins; SBP to Central is alo 30 mins in a taxi.

    Official info is here: http://www.td.gov.hk/en/transport_in...ort/index.html

I agree that Shenzhen Bay Port is the quietest. And friends told me they have the easiest customs. They had me bring Nokia cell phones to Shenzhen and told me to go through Shenzhen Bay Port.

Probably OP made his trip already. Can you share your experiences?
