It's going to depend when next month - there is a huge IMF meeting in Singapore around the 18th which has made it very difficult to get any hotel accommodation there at all that week.

What is your idea of "cheap"?

To misquote the infamous Arthur Dent: "This must be some strange usage of the word "cheap" which I was previously unaware of".

try Robertson Quay, it's a Boutique hotel. www.robertsonquayhotel.com.sg.

alternately, you can book it through www.ratestogo.com. they offer beeter rates, which I booked through them.

well, my apologies if it is a mistake. was told by my singaporean friend hence, was just passing the info on.....

is RQ a really 'cheap & nasty' budget hotel? or is it just because the rooms are small?

Thanks, RQ looks pretty nice actually. Actually I am only going for 3 days so if the hotel doesn't have a spa thats ok (pool still prefered!). The area I need to be most at while in Singapore is called 'Woodlands'. Does anyone know anything in the area, or near by?
