Which Hotel to stay in HK - Pls help a confused gilr?

We are visiting HK this december for tourism.

I have visited all hotel reservation site and now i am totally confused. We would like to stay in a place close to markets/malls for shopping. I thought Causeway Bay or TST would booth be good but we can stay anyplace close to MTR.

We are arriving on 15-Dec-06 and Departing 23-Dec-06, 8 nights.

We are Four Adults and one infant.
    We need two rooms.
    We need in-room Internet access.
    Daily Budget: US$100 - $110 (HK $800approx)

Intially i short listed the Metropark Hotel and Holiday Inn Express at Causeway Bay but i am not sure as i am totally confused now.

I chose above two as both offer in-room internet access, metropark has good reviews on this website while i read Holiday Inn Express is chick and trendy.

But i am open to suggestions, i just need to know the best hotel to fit my budget with in-room internet access.
    Cheers,
    Kareena

Holiday Inn Express is right next to Times Square -- good location. We've had a few people stay there and they've been happy with it.

    Thanks, any other advice on;

    - Hotel
    - Travel Tips
    - Where to Shop (Best Shpping Malls, Areas, Streets)
    - What to shop
    - Must see places (considering all of us are in our 20s)
    - Where to find veggie Indian food

What else to do as we are there for eight days.

hey friends we were able to book two rooms at the metropark hotel, and got confirmation numbers from them.

Now we are all set. The internet access in room is complimentary.

Our baby is 12 months old.

    Please let us know;
    1) Must see places as wer are there for 7 full days, we will visit Macau, is a day trip good enough?
    what other places you suggest?.

    2) Where to Shop - what/where are the Best Shpping Malls, Shopping Areas, and Street shooping?

    3) Must see places (considering all of us are in our 20s)?

    4) Where to find vegetarian Indian food?
Do you have Pizza Huts and McD everywhere?
Does McD serve a veggie burger?

    5) Which GSM sim card to buy to call India cheapest?
I looked at Peoples and Vodafone HK websites for stored value cards which are cheap but none of them lists calling charges to India. Can you help?
Also, suggest a regular phone card which is reasonable to call India from a regular land line phone?

    Thanks!

    >> Where to Shop

Plan on taking a trip to Shenzhen, lots of deals. Plan on bargaining the vendors down by 50-70%.

For vegetarian Indian food, check out Khana Kazana in Wanchai. They have lots of veggie Indian stuff, with a few extras thrown in. Last time I was there, for example, I had jalapeno quesadillas - not quite sure which part of India they're from, but they were very nice

    Here's the address:

Khana Khazana (1/F, Dannies House, 20 Luard Rd, Wanchai, HK. Tel: 2520 5308)
