    The House of Dancing Water

Anyone been to watch the 5 pm performance and return to HK the same day? Is this doable? I heard the performance is only 1.5 hours and snce the ferries from Cotai strip run quite regularly, thought I'll head back to HK after the show.

Don't get the cheap seats at the front, They provide towels for a reason.

Thanks. I got the B reserve tickets which are around HKD680 - not the front row ones. These are complimentary tickets from SCMP. SCMP had a promotion last year when you order from them for one year, they give a 20% discount and 2 of the complimentary tickets. Unfortunately no hotel stay included.

Just wanted to let you know that it is doable to watch the 5 pm show and return on the same day - no point staying at the hotels in Cotai Strip when one has a perfectly great home to stay. The show was very entertaining though the story was kind of cheesy. The performers are very skilled and am impressed that they use every inch of the stage esp the height of the performance area - incredible diving. Yes, don't get the cheapest seats which are the 2 front rows. Those seated there really get wet - not just a splash or two but like they just came out of a short shower. Transportation within Macau is virtually free as one can take the hotel shuttles between places - they don't ask you if you are hotel guest. So, after the 5 pm show, we just queue for the bus to Cotai Strip ferry terminal and does not cost a cent. They also time it so that you get to board the next ferry out.

i've seen the show being on the 2nd row and unless you are a real sissy it is not really wet...a bit of splash and that is part of the fun.

All in all a very very good show.
