I'm travelling to Guangxi province in late September, mostly hiking and staying in backcountry guesthouses. Was wondering if I might need any special vaccinations for the area. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in Hong Kong?
Thank you!!

HK Government Health Centre: http://www.dh.gov.hk/english/useful/...fee_phthc.html
They have a map of the world - Tell them where you plan to travel and they'll tell you which vaccinations are required or recommended. Initial consultation fee is $315 and then you pay for the vaccinations, which are significantly cheaper than at a GP. They also have the vaccinations in stock so you don't have to come back for the shot (unlike at some doctor's offices).
You may need a HK ID card or else the fees are higher.
HK is so great for providing these centres - would never have them back home!
P.S. For China, you should definitely get the long term hepatitis shots because of the hygiene situation and you'll feel a little better eating at food stalls.
