Upon reaching there, you need to wait for the ferry unless you're lucky and time it nicely. I've tried both and the time saving may not be worth the additional hassle and money unless you are in a hurry. If you are in a hurry, do the helico way
I *Like* that you are not berating some white expat and telling him to return to his shithole country.

    Should I?

Booth: the bus are about 30 min once I think, could be 20 min. Just go to the bus terminus and ask around. I think its at the 30 something bay (on the side facing the square you come out to from immigration), go ask the ticketing girls at the bays and they'll point you to the right one

Oh the ticket is 1 way. You get on the bus first and the ticketing girl will come by and sell you the ticket once the bus is about to leave. Beware of pick pockets and sit closer to the back in case their brakes doesn't work :P

Is it 24 hours? Once I went to Macao on holiday and the ferries were full, ended up waiting in standby for 2 hours. If a bus is a fesible option then would be glad to try it out.

Thanks all! Is it easy to take transportation from Gongbei to Taipa? And approximately how long does it take?

All depends on how quick you cross the border (can take 2 min or 1 hour depending on the crowd). but once you are on Macau side, a taxi ride to taipa is 10 minutes. Buses take a little longer (15/20min depending on where you go in Taipa)

I think all the major casinos have shuttles from the Gongbei/ Cerco crossing. I don't know about from the Lotus Bridge Crossing.
