    Shenzhen to Zhuhai, Macau

Just took the bus from Shenzhen to Zhuhai. The fare is 100rmb and the bus departs Shenzhen bus space 37 at Louhu. Starting at 7:20am and departs every 40 minutes. Supposedly you have to buy the ticket upstairs first. The bus is 2-2.5 hours long.

Border crossing at Zhuhai Macau is very long and slow. Expect several hours delay on weekends.

On the bus, the operators took an individual face photo of everyone. Does anyone know why they do this?

Alternatively to waiting, many people will tout taxi service to drive into Macau. Rates seemed to be 15rmb per person. Havent tried this though.

They take pictures to discourage robberies because the suspects could be identified. They have been doing this for over a decade.
If you want to go from Shenzhen to Macau it would be much faster to take the direct ferry from Shekou.
