I found a website for a Karting track in Shenzhen Honey Lake park but it's all in Chinese:
http://www.szkarting.com/
Any idea how to get there from Hong Kong?
Thanks!

Roughly translated... you need to go to the HK Macau Ferry Terminal and catch a ferry to Pier Fuyong in Shenzhen, at Fuyong take a taxi to the Ultimate Speedway. ((Fuyong Pier - Fuyong Avenue (turn left) - 107 State Road - Honda Societe Generale shop (right turn) -(turn left) - Po Sha Hotels (right turn) - Ultimate speedway))
From Kowloon: catch ferry from China Ferry Terminal.
From Macau: catch ferry from new Macau Ferry.
You do know that there is an equally good outdoor bitumen karting track out in Lung Kwu Tan, about 15 minutes drive from Tuen Mun Central ?
Why would you want to go to the Shenzhen variant ? A lot of rooting around, when Hong Kong has an international class track here.

Have fun
Thanks for directions!
Yes I am aware of Diamond Coast karting track in Tuen Mun and been there a few times but the problem is their hire karts are slow and poorly maintained.
One in Shenzhen seems to offer faster two-stroke karts which are in a different league altogether.
Thanks,
Vano
That does suprize me, considering the karts at DC are only about 18 months old...
I do agree that they are pretty pussy go karts here in HK, wouldnt want to get hurt now lol. Nothing like what I was use to using when i was a young teen back in Aus, with privately owned competition class Karts that began at 100KPH per hour. Right up to 280KPH Super karts.
If you are a bit mechanically clever you can get another inch or 2 throttle cable length out of the pussy restricted HK baby spec carts, giving you another 20% more power than what they have governed / restricted them to. Other than that, Singapore would be your most open Karting experience next to AUS, NZ or the USA.
Let us know what the Shenzhen experience is like.
