Via new Cotaijet service to Macau Airport

Has anyone taken the new Cotaijet service from Hong Kong to Taipa Island in Macau?

I'm considering using it next Saturday morning because I have a flight from Macau airport that afternoon and the map shows the Cotaijet terminal on Taipa island as being very close to the airport, maybe even walking distance with my backpack. This would save me taking a bus or taxi from the main Macau terminal.

But the Cotaijet website does not promote this service as a convenient way to get to Macau airport.

Does anyone know Taipa island or has used the Cotaijet service enough to advise me if this is a good way to get from HK to Macau airport?

Yeah now that you are on this topic. I'm taking an Airasia flight via macau as well and am wondering whats the fastest way to get to the airport. I read somewhere on the website that you can catch a ferry and a bus will send you direct to the airport thus bypassing having to clear macau immigration. I wonder that is worth it as the bus service seems to be rather infrequent

Some more details on this: [Macau International Airport] - Airport Accessibility - Express Link - apparently you can even check your bags in at the Macao Ferry Terminal in HK. But yes, only 4 bus departures a day at the Macau Ferry terminal: 11:00, 15:15, 17:00 and 18:30, so whether this is useful really depends on your flight time I guess. The costs is HK$55 extra so you're not saving anything apart from the hassle of carrying your bags for a bit and going through Macao Immigration twice.
