    I assume you mean MEC? Far as I know, the closest REI to Vancouver in Bellingham, south of the border.

    The main MEC is on Broadway near downtown Vancouver. There's also one in North Van, but for someone who is flying in, the main location is bigger and probably easier to get to.

    I can, and have, spent entire days day in the Broadway MEC. It's a gear junkie's dream.

    Does she want to buy a snowboard? I tried to sell mine on here a couple of times......surprisingly, it never sold.

    You should advertise it as a wakeboard. I suspect that a lot of people would not be able to tell the difference.

    It was definitely an REI - in North Vancouver - but it was 10+ years ago so could have gone!

    Huh, that sounds like an... optimistic... venture into the Canadian market. Canadians love MEC almost as much as they do Tim Hortons, so any REI opening up would almost certainly be doomed to failure.
