where to go fro short break in china?

Have to take off 5 days next month, and trying to find a place to go that would be cheap to get to and direct if possible. Been to Shanghai, beijing, Guilin and Yangshuo already, so wuoul like to see some other part of China now. Any suggestions where is good for a short time and what airlines get you there or other transport?

Sanya? Nice beach at Yalong Bay. Big and relaxing resorts, e.g. MGM Sanya.

CX Fanfare offers flight at $490.

Lijiang! You can't miss out Lijiang. Fabulous.

We also went to Jiuzhaigou a while back - that was gorgeous. (although crowded). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiuzhaigou_Valley

Xian is also very interesting if you have not been - the terracotta warriors are worth a visit. But that's just one day really.

I would second lijiang...but throw in Dali too. I actually like Dali better than lijiang, but both are nice.

I can recommend you Moganshan or Tianmunshan. Beautiful out there.
