On a sunny day, the busy bit is the little park next door. Real grass to sit on!

Could have made that as big as the terminal while they're still thinking what to do.

Given the land shortage they were very lucky to find 10 hectares of prime waterfront that has been left un-developed for 22 years to dump waste.

Should Legco pass this huge transfer of wealth to a Chinese SEO?

You have an obsession with this conspiracy theory that Hong Kong government is doing all it can to hand the keys to the coffers over to Beijing

They just think it's a good investment. They probably bought bitcoin too, and they're laughing all the way to the bank right now if they did.

I have not suggested it is a conspiracy theory. It is happening.

Legco should check this and kick it back if the executive branch have made bad assumptions (there is a track record).

Or should Legco not question government spending?

Except knowing them, even if they did, they lost their keys to the wallet, which was anyway with a hacked exchange...

And no banks would take them, whether they laughed their way there or not. Bitcoin to China’s digital currency is the only one-way traffic answer.

    This is roughly my point.

Let's not assign to malign intend the actions of a government that are much more easily explained by incompetence.

That razor doesn't apply here because it's pretty much an established truth that HK runs on a system of cronyism. The system is designed to run that way and policies are built around it from functional constituencies giving businesses undue influence to putting 50% of the population in workhouses known as "public housing" to subsidise the unliveable minimum wage by shaking money from the sandwich class.

Which has approximately zero to do with anything any of us have just said?
