After a quick trip to old Macau (St. Paul, Senado Sq, the fort next to St. Paul, with a walk down to Lisboa) and a few hours spent in old Taipa (Rua de Cunha), I spent the rest of my time around City if Dreams. Theres was just way too many Mainlanders there spoiling my experience. If you think Canton Road in TST is bad, Macauis 10x worse!

Yeah. It's a pity. Macau used to be nice for a short break away from Hong Kong.

It is a shame, I'd always thought away from the casinos, Macau would be semi-quiet. That just burst my bubble! Aside from a concert which I'll be helping out in the near future, I doubt I'll be taking another break there for another year or so, and thats at a push!

It is always the same. If you go there for a day or two, hit the same places as most tourist do and eat at the same kind of places -- chances are you won't like it.

But I won't waste my time trying to argue especially with some of the posters on here who only get their daily kick at bashing other places or people.
