    Question Chung Ying Street

    Dear all,

Can anyone assist on how is it possible to visit Chung Ying Street legally as a traveler/tourist? It is an intriguing place where 2 territories meet on the same road.

Is there any way we can obtain a Closed Area Permit for this purpose?

    Thanks so much!

    Regards,
    Wilson Loo

How did you visit the street? I know it's "just another street" but the arrangement itself fascinates me. And I would like to visit the museum on Shenzhen side of the street too.

You may have more luck entering China and approaching from that side, especially if you want to visit the museum.

I understand a permit is also needed entering from Shenzhen. Is that true? If yes, how is that done?

Unless you have a friend or relative living in this closed area just forget it. (the whole idea of the closed area permits is to keep the area closed. )

As imparanoic suggested, it is better just to go and see the Shenzhen side.

Yeah but do I also need a permit from the Shenzhen side?
