Anyone know about the traffic situation on a Monday morning into Shenzhen? We are traveling via private car. Would leaving at 730am from Hk be realistic for a 9am arrival time?

Which border crossing?

All are generally fine but some such as Shenzhen Bay Bridge are probably running at 20% of capacity for vehicles so easy and quick.

Some downtown parts of Shenzhen have heavy traffic but it depends where you are going.

It's plenty of time to get across the border but whether it's enough time to reach your final destination depends on where you are going. It's it's into the industrial bowels of Longgang or Baoan maybe not.
